There are several opportunities available to you to help us while gaining taxation relief as allowed under taxation law. Gifts of cash may be made as a one-off gift or may be pledged over a three to five year period. A pledged gift often enables you as a donor to contribute a larger gift if it is spread over a period of time.
Other ways of giving are goods and services, gifts designated to a specific part of the new building, memorial gifts, assignment of income from rental properties, advertising/sponsorship agreements, agistment of livestock and gifts by bequest or legacy.
We would also be happy to discuss naming opportunities with donors who may wish to link their family or business name with the new Animal Centre.
You may wish to make a gift in a way that is special to you perhaps in a way that we have not covered above. If so, or if there are any other issues you would like to discuss regarding support for our appeal, we would gladly spend some time with you to ascertain the most efficient way for you to make your gift.

Bequests – leaving a legacy of caring
You can help us to look after the animals that come under our care in the community with a bequest to Taupo SPCA. That is, by leaving a gift or donation in your will.
A bequest means that you can continue to care when you are no longer here to help in person. Your influence will be felt and acknowledged beyond your lifetime.
If you would like to make a bequest, please consult your lawyer or contact Faye Johnson at SPCA. Faye will be able to assist you with an appropriate wording or codicil and answer any other queries you may have. If you choose to include us in your will, please tell us about it. If we know about your bequest we can thank you personally and keep you up to date with our progress.
